Enstrom Helicopters

Enstrom has made over the years numerous models of helicopters that all look pretty much the same and feature a three blade rotor system. Enstrom was founded in 1959 by Rudy Enstrom and owned, for awhile, by famous attorney F. Lee Bailey. The Enstrom F-280 is currently being produced and a larger turboshaft model (480) is offered. These helicopters are not particularly numerous in the bush and most of them tend to be owned by wealthy private owners.

Watch this short video featuring a "passenger transfer" between a bi-plane and an Enstrom helicopter. It's un-freaking-believable.
